This stunning statement necklace is hand beaded by Maasai women in Kenya. This is a traditional art form that has been in practice for centuries and is still the traditional jewelry worn by Maasai women all over Kenya. The long tassels are 27" long and finished with cowrie shells at the bottom. Zia bought these pieces directly from the Maasai women who made them while he was last in Kenya, so this is as fair trade as it gets!
